Album Premiere: NYC Hip-Hop Crew Soul Inscribed

​Four-piece hip-hop outfit Soul Inscribed sprinkles jazz into the mix on its self-titled debut LP. Beyond lyricism and beats, the New York City-based crew includes smatterings of saxophone, flute, guitar, bass and more. The group will be embarking on a run of international shows as ambassadors of American music, with gigs lined up in far-flung locales like Russia, Mauritius and Indonesia. The self-released Soul Inscribed is due out this Friday.
